Morgan Halm is a distinguished legal practitioner and a senior partner at H&F Law Firm, where he leads the firm’s Corporate, Commercial, and International Transactions Practice Group. Over the course of his career, he has established himself as a trusted advisor to multinational corporations, private investors, financial institutions, and individual clients seeking strategic legal representation across diverse sectors.
Mr. Halm earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Honors from the University of London, where he graduated among the top of his class, and went on to obtain his Barrister-at-Law qualification from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in the United Kingdom. Further advancing his expertise, he pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Law at Harvard Law School, focusing on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border financing, and dispute resolution.
In recognition of his academic excellence, Morgan served as a Research Fellow at Harvard’s Program on International Financial Systems, where he contributed to publications and conferences examining the evolving regulatory landscape of global markets. He also spent time as a visiting scholar at the University of Leiden, The Netherlands, deepening his knowledge of European Union law and international arbitration.
Before co-founding H&F Law Firm, Morgan trained and practiced with two of the world’s most prestigious international law firms – Clifford Chance LLP in London and White & Case LLP in New York – where he advised on high-profile transactions, including sovereign bond issues, international commercial arbitrations, and multi-jurisdictional corporate restructurings. This international exposure sharpened his ability to navigate complex cross-border legal issues and positioned him as a lawyer with a truly global outlook.
